Late to the Twitter party

Micro-blogging is a quite an interesting concept which seems to combine the short and handy SMS format with social networking-style broadcast, enhancing our social peripheral vision, a term coined by Jaiku founder Jyri Engeström (to the best of my knowledge). Having been late to the blog authoring party as well, I'm currently trying out the Twitter service, after following Twitter stories for some time. One hilarious is the Jason Calacanis airport drama, leaving Paris and Le Web 3 2008, but forgetting his passport at the hotel and having to arrange for the passport to be transported to CDG in a hurry, all while Twittering about it. Today, the excellent video below also inspired me to start using Twitter myself.
